Key Information for Presenters
In-person conference: Please note that AMTESOL 2025 is an IN-PERSON conference, so virtual or pre-recorded video presentations will not be accepted.
Conference registration: All presenters of an accepted presentation must register for the conference before Early Bird Registration ends November 22nd. AMTESOL thanks all presenters for their participation but presenters do pay full price for their Early Bird Registration. AMTESOL keeps its conference fees as low as possible.​

Non-U.S. presenters: If you live outside of the USA and require a visa, please note that AMTESOL is NOT a visa-issuing entity. In our experience, the US government does not typically issue visas for small, regional conferences such as AMTESOL. Also, the timeframe from acceptance until the conference is typically too tight to receive a visa.

This year, we are embracing the theme "Celebrating Cultural and Linguistic Kaleidoscopes," a tribute to the vibrant cultural and linguistic diversity found in teaching English to speakers of other languages. We invite you to bring innovative ideas, ground-breaking methods, and insightful perspectives that resonate with this theme. The AMTESOL Conference is a prime platform for you to showcase transformative approaches that can enhance teaching, research, collaboration, and advocacy for English learners in our region. Thank you for participating in this chance to engage in a dynamic educational exchange and leave a lasting impact on our diverse educational landscape. Presentations should consider the following questions:

What ideas have you implemented that transformed classroom instruction and atmosphere for your students?

What new research have you explored or conducted that will change the future of English Learner Instruction?

Information for Session Presenters

Each session room has a digital projector but Presenters must provide their own laptop and speakers (if sound is needed).​ [Please note: if you use a Mac, please make sure to bring your own adapters to connect to HDMI]

If you are using handouts, we recommend having 40 available.
Share Your Resources with Attendees

Save your PowerPoints, pdfs, documents, etc. with a name that will help your session attendees find your resources

Go to the AMTESOL 2025 Session Resources Google Drive folder. The URL will be emailed to you and made available to attendees during the conference and 90 days post-conference.

Find and open the file folder with your name (if more than 1 presenter, the submitter's name) on it.

Upload your resources.​

Please note that all AMTESOL 2025 attendees will have access to the resources for 90 days post-conference, at which time they will be deleted.
Information for Poster Presenters

Please bring your printed poster, which are usually 3x4 feet

A poster stand will be provided for you - no need to bring one

Digital posters are only possible by special arrangement and you must provide the monitor (email us to discuss)

Set up: Poster presenters will be notified when to set up

Poster session: Poster presenters are expected to stand by their poster to explain it

Poster presenters will remove their posters when the conference ends, Saturday 12:45pm​
